What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Why should I choose Disc Drive Self Storage?

As a newly built facility, we offer a clean, modern environment with top-notch features like tall insulated ceilings, rain gutters, drive-up access, and a focus on customer safety and convenience.

What are your office and access hours?

Our office is open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Wednesday-Friday and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Closed Sunday- Tuesday. You can access your storage unit daily between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Where is Disc Drive Self Storage located?

We are conveniently located at 1470 Disc Dr, Sparks, NV 89436, near landmarks like the Red Hawk Golf Course and Vista Dr.

What security features does your facility offer?

Our facility is equipped with individual contact alarms, security cameras, and is fully fenced and gated, providing a safe and secure environment for your belongings.

What types of storage units do you offer?

We offer a variety of ground-floor units with drive-up access for easy loading and unloading, as well as secure storage options for all your needs.

How do I reserve a storage unit?

You can reserve your unit online or call us at 775-357-9444. Our friendly team is ready to assist you!

Do you sell moving supplies?

Yes, we provide boxes and packing supplies on-site to make your moving and storage process easier.

What nearby neighborhoods do you serve?

We proudly serve Sparks, Reno, Spanish Springs, Carson City, and surrounding areas, including popular communities like Red Hawk.

How do insulated ceilings protect my belongings?

Rules and Regulations

In addition to the Tennant Lease Agreement please remember all Occupants and their guests, employees, agents, family or other must adhere to ALL facility rules, regulations and posted signs.

Only Occupants and those authorized by Occupants may enter the facility.

Occupant’s guests, employees, agents and family are the responsibility of said Occupant and are subject to the same rules and regulations.  Occupant and guests must enter assigned passcode each time they enter and exit the facility. 

Owner may require any person to show proper identification and owner my deny access to anyone that cannot identify properly, for the safety of Occupants and property.   

REMEMBER TO LOCK YOUR UNIT.

Owner is not responsible for acts of vandalism, theft, or other crimes that occur on the premises.

Owner has no duty to remove snow or ice from the premises.

Please be careful of ice and shaded areas during inclement weather.

Do Not Leave Trash.

Occupant will be subject to reasonable charges for any damage to property, repairs and removal of trash and debris left behind. Please remember to clean out unit completely when moving to avoid an excess cleaning and removal fee.  

Nobody except the Owner or representative of Disc Drive Self Storage may cut a lock on the property.

This constitutes breaking and entering and will be prosecuted as such. In the event that you are locked out of your unit please contact the office for assistance. Additional charges may apply.  

No skateboarding, bicycling, rollerblading or other recreational activities shall be conducted inside the property.

But we’re just 3.7 miles from Burgess Skate Park and 4.3 miles from Spanish Springs Skate Park!

Ground Rules:
  1. Respect other Occupants

  2. 5 MPH speed limit through the property

  3. Do not block traffic or prevent vehicles from entering or exiting.

  4. Be mindful of blocking other units and aisleways

  5. Do not leave vehicles or property left unattended. Any vehicles or property left out overnight will towed or disposed of at owners discretion and occupants expense.

  6. Do not dispose of any fluids on the property. This includes but is not limited to engine oil, gasoline, etc.

  7. Do not drill any holes, paint, or make any other alterations to your unit or elsewhere on the property.

  8. Do not tamper with or modify any electrical or security equipment in your unit or elsewhere on the property.

  9. Do not hang anything from the structural elements of your unit.

  10. Your storage unit under no circumstances shall be used for: Sleeping or residence (unlawful to do so), direct sales or garage sales, business office, operating power equipment, playing of musical instruments or band practice, social gathering, illegal activities.

  11. Do not store: Perishable items, Hazardous materials (asbestos, paint, toxic waste), explosives or fireworks, explosives, flammable liquids (gasoline, oil), propane tanks, firearms and ammunition, corrosives (batteries), trash, illegal or prohibited items and substances, stolen property.
